Craig Bone

Craig Bone

Born in 1955

Craig Bone's extraordinary paintings capture the magnificent beauty of Africa's native wildlife in breathtaking detail. When we look at his paintings we get a glimpse into the intimate lives of exotic animals. With his series of leopard prints, the animals are seen lounging and seem to be communicating with each other as we observe them.

These exotic prints look terrific with any animal print theme in a room. We've seen them matted with faux animal print mats and large ebony frames, which really make them "breathe" on your walls.

The artist currently resides in a remote area of Northern Zimbabwe and travels throughout Africa, spending countless hours observing and photographing wildlife, which he then uses as inspiration for his paintings. His work is represented in numerous museums worldwide, and he has illustrated several books that celebrate the diverse landscape of Africa.
