Bob Timberlake started painting as a child but it wasn’t until he was 33 that he became a full-time artist. He left his family's business, concentrated on his painting and only one year later was accepted by Hammer Galleries in New York as a gallery artist. Since then he has experienced continued growth in popularity.
His subjects include rustic homes, old quilts and rocking chairs. In addition to painting, Timberlake's creative output has been licensed for furniture, house wares and a variety of other products. Timberlake even designed a Christmas stamp for the U.S. Postal Service in 1980.
As an artist and humanitarian, recognition of Bob Timberlake's talent has come from many people, organizations, and museums worldwide.
