Georges Meis studied photography-cinema in Paris. For five years he was occupied with fashion photography, creating MEIS STUDIO. He then became involved in publishing, presenting a series of post cards featuring tourism promotion. Meis' themes are taken from the Greek islands and Continental Greece, having created international interest which lead to the publishing of his range of posters. His panoramic photos are considered avant-garde. It was the first time when photos were presented which were taken from an angle of 360 degrees in a composition of various plans. His presence at International Fairs in New York, Atlanta, Sydney and Birmingham makes him the only participant from Greece in the field of fine art.
What Our Customers Say:
Today I received the posters. Thank you! They look very nice. The poster from Sydney reminds me of this great town. And the poster from Andy Warhol is just beautiful. I'm very happy with them. Thank you for all your effort and help. Perhaps when I'm again in Sydney I take a trip to your store to say thanks in person. Regards, Elske
