1951- Art Wolfe is an award-winning photographer who travels the world photographing animals and landscapes. He focuses on an animals distinguishing features, instinctual behaviour and natural habitat. He states that his "most successful (shots) are the photographs where the animal and I have direct eye contact. That's the emotion of the moment". Wolfe's landscape photography captures the awesome and dramatic moments of nature. He travels widely, including Australia, to capture the perfect photograph. Wolfe works on assignment and publishes frequently with National Geographic, National Wildlife, National Audubon and Smithsonian. He has also released "On Location with Art Wolfe", an instructional video filmed in Alaska, has regularly led photographic workshops, and has published a long list of books.
